"Edit Mode" is used to alter the details of an instance that has already been loaded into the database.
Instances are presented in a list on the left-hand side of the panel. The instance list can be sorted in alphabetical, chronological or reverse chronological order.
The Filter field can help to you quickly locate one or more instances by hiding all instances except the ones whose names contain the text that you have entered.
Select an instance from the list and press "Edit" to open an editing form for that instance. Edit the values as required and then press "Update" to commit the edits to the database, or press "Cancel" to discard the edits.
