Press the "Create a new entry" button. Provide a name for the new database connection. The name can be whatever you want, but each entry must have a unique name. The new entry will appear in the connection list.

Each field has a help button which explains how to specify the value for that field.
The values for each of the fields (except the password) will be stored in a configuration file. When you next start the application, the stored values can be recalled by selecting the entry in the connection list.
The connection list is displayed on the left-hand side of the panel.
The position of entries in the list can be changed by selecting them and dragging them up or down.
Use the "Rename" button to change the name of the currently selected connection.
Use the "Delete" button to remove the currently selected connection from the list. Once a connection is removed it cannot be retrieved.
