"Browse Mode" is used to explore the database. This mode also allows instances to be selected for editing, exporting and deletion.
For information about the fields and attributes for this particular table, see the schema overview and the description of how attributes are defined.
Instances are presented in a list on the left-hand side of the panel. The instance list can be sorted in alphabetical, chronological or reverse chronological order.
The Filter field can help to you quickly locate one or more instances by hiding all instances except the ones whose names contain the text that you have entered.
The "Find linked..." feature allows you to easily explore the links between the currently selected instance and instance(s) in any other table.
Selecting more than one instance causes the display to switch to a tabular view. The table can be arranged with either one instance per row, or with one instance per column using the buttons at the bottom of the table.
Columns can be rearranged by dragging them left and right. The width of columns can be adjusted by dragging the dividers between the columns.
When using the one instance per row option, it is possible to sort the columns by clicking on them. Subsequent clicks cycle between sorted ascending, sorted descending and unsorted. It it also possible to sort on multiple columns at once by holding the 'control' key and clicking on additional columns.
